We are honored to serve those who have served our country. As a VA-approved Community Care provider, we treat veterans from Barksdale AFB, the Shreveport VA, and throughout Northwest Louisiana. Many service-related conditions respond well to chiropractic care.
Getting chiropractic care through the VA is straightforward. Follow these steps to receive treatment at no cost to you.
Contact your VA primary care provider at Overton Brooks VA Medical Center or through the VA app and request a Community Care referral for chiropractic services.
The VA will process your referral. Once approved, you'll receive authorization for chiropractic treatment at an approved provider like Mayfield Chiropractic.
Call our Shreveport office at (318) 828-1517 to schedule your appointment. Bring your VA referral documentation and military ID to your first visit.
We handle all billing directly with the VA. You receive the chiropractic care you need at no cost to you. Thank you for your service.

Yes, we treat both active duty military and veterans. Active duty personnel from Barksdale AFB can receive care through TRICARE referrals. We also see military dependents and retirees with TRICARE coverage.
We treat service-related injuries including back pain from carrying heavy gear, neck injuries, joint pain, chronic pain conditions, and musculoskeletal issues from training or deployment. Many veterans benefit from chiropractic care for conditions that developed during their service.
