Does Medicare cover chiropractic care?
Yes, Medicare Part B covers chiropractic treatment for spinal subluxation (misalignment). Medicare covers manual manipulation of the spine when performed by a chiropractor. You pay 20% of the Medicare-approved amount after meeting your Part B deductible.
What is NOT covered by Medicare?
Medicare does not cover X-rays (unless medically necessary for diagnosis), massage therapy, physical therapy performed by the chiropractor, maintenance or wellness care, or any non-spinal services. These would be out-of-pocket expenses.
Do you accept Medicare Advantage plans?
